CHOOSING A PAINT COLOR
Choosing a paint color can seem overwhelming.
There are so many shades of the same color that it can be difficult to make a decision.
1) Narrow it down to 3 or 4 choices.
2) Buy a quart or a sample of each color choice.
3) Take your sample colors and paint a large blotch of each (2 coats) on each wall in the room.
Be sure and mark in pencil what color you put up for each
If you cannot paint directly on the wall get large pieces of foam board and paint those and hang them.
WHY DO THIS???
This will allow you to see how the light reflects on the paint from all angles.
You will experience what the color looks like at different times of the day and at night.
4) Live with the sample on your walls for at least a few days (a week would be great).
You will probably be able to eliminate some immediately after your do the above. The remainder may get narrowed down to 2 and then, if you cannot decide, you can either get another opinion from a friend or family member, hire a designer, or close your eyes and pick one!
