Renovating can be a scary and stressful process. Do you need to pull permits? What are you trying to accomplish with the space? Do you know what your "style" is? Who so you hire to do the jobs and trust to not take advantage of you?

There are so many different choices out there these days that just trying to narrow down a paint color can be overwhelming! Finding someone that understands your vision and can make that come to life makes it much less scary or stressful and fun. In fact, there is a good chance you’ll enjoy the process so much you might want to do it again!

Why renovate?

1) You love your location/neighborhood but your home no longer meets your needs either because your family has grown, how you use your home is different, or because your lifestyle has changed.

2) The price to purchase a new home that meets your family’s needs is not economically viable because it will not only raise your property taxes but it is simply out of your mortgage “comfort zone”.

3) You home is tired and dated and you no enjoy looking at it and are not proud of it.

A good renovation can make you fall in love with your home all over again. It can make life easier, tidier and more enjoyable. With the right choices, it can save you money in the long run and be good for your health. It can also increase the value of your property. It also can be a huge source of pride when you know that you were able to transform it into something you love again!

Plan for the future

Your home should rise up to greet you when you walk in. It should be your “happy place”. It should account for all of your moods emotions and all of life experiences. A home that does this is a well-designed home that not only meets your current needs but is also beautiful.

Bringing that plan to life usually requires some kind of renovation – a word that automatically causes stress…however, it doesn’t always have to be that way. A well designed and thought-out floorplan and having a design concept is half the battle. Having the right people (interior designer, contractors, and architect) is what makes the process much easier on you!

I have a full team that I regularly work with so that you do not have to worry about whom to hire! I have architects and contractors that I can refer you to if you do not have a clue where to start OR I can work with someone else if you prefer. BOTTOMLINE...I am here to make the process less stressful and more enjoyable for you!
